Tempered safety glass and Heat Strengthened glass are widely used in architectural glazing applications. Both are created using a thermal process where annealed (raw) glass is heated and then rapidly cooled. Tempered safety glass will break into many small pieces, and is commonly used in a laminated configuration where glass is designed to stay intact when broken. Triview offers these products in thicknesses ranging from 3mm to 19mm. Here are some common uses of tempered glass:
Laminated glass is one of the fastest growing product lines Triview creates. Due to its versatility and physical characteristics, it has many architectural, artistic, and safety/security applications. Laminated glass is created when two or more pieces are bonded together using an adhesive interlayer and then processed using heat and pressure. Triview offers several types of interlayer, and can process a wide variety of organic, colored, textured and graphic material. Here are some common uses of laminated glass.
All of Triview’s laminated glass conform to ASTM C 1172. All of our safety laminated products conform to ANSI Z97.1-2004 and CPSC 16CFR 1201 Cat. I & II.
Triview offers a full line of hardware solutions for use in all-glass entry doors, shower doors and displays. Hardware can be combined with several types of glass to create a unique environment. Here are some common uses of All-Glass Doors and Hardware:

Triview provides screen-printing technology directly to glass. This is done with a ceramic frit medium and fired onto the glass surface at a very high temperature. The process can be used with translucent, opaque and even transparent colors. The end product is fully tempered and/or laminated, and is colorfast. It’s ideal for exterior applications.
Triview has a full line of standard patterns available. Our in-house design team can also create custom patterns to your specifications. These can be used decoratively or for performance enhancement (i.e. shading co-efficiency). Patterns can also be combined with colored interlayers and other combinations of glass types in an insulated unit and in laminated makeups. Pattern capability includes solid block colors, fades and half-tones.
